 Reporting to the President, Del was hired with the understanding that he would help the owner grow the business, and in doing so, grow it more profitably. At the present time he is working on several issues, including Marketing, Project Management, and getting bids for build-out of a new corporate headquarters. He sees opportunity and volunteered these comments:

 I was attracted to this position by fact that owner seemed very open and willing to explore new perspectives with respect to growth of his business. I made it very clear that this was an essential part of the position I was looking for. He responded with the statement that he needed someone he could rely on to take some of the pressure off him in terms of growing and administering the business.

 

 I was impressed with his history and also the potential within his target market. The owner and my fellow associates are very supportive of one another and of me. In fact this team is almost like an extended family. The market we are targeting is much bigger and stronger than I anticipated. All in all, I believe this is a great opportunity.

 Tom W has been very supportive and I truly enjoyed working with him. His ability to bring out the importance of sharing my strengths and capabilities that I have but didn't necessarily employ in previous situations was very important in creating the resume he came up with. Tom and I discussed the strategy of a backdoor approach and that is what I used successfully.

 I didn't want merely a job or a title, but the opportunity to make use of my real interests and skills, and I feel that's what I have gotten. Also utilized the Quick Resume and the responses I got to it were, I believe, instrumental in receiving invitations to meetings with potential employers. That was certainly true with my current situation.
